The construction of the cement-bonded particleboard plant in the Czech Republic started in 1987 and the plant was put into operation in 1991.

In the early years of production, the range was basically limited to the CETRIS motherboard^® BASIC without surface treatment. Gradually, the offer has expanded, adding a number of services such as cutting, milling, grinding, drilling, coating and more. Currently, we offer a total of 14 types of cement-bonded particleboard and are constantly developing new types to meet the needs and wishes of our customers.

CIDEM Hranice, a.s. - CETRIS division is currently the largest manufacturer of cement particleboards in Europe. The production capacity of the line is 55 000 m³ ...yearly.

About the growing popularity and versatile use of CETRIS boards^® The fact that they are currently exported to almost the whole of Europe, but also to countries in Africa, Asia and South America, is a testimony to this.

Cement particleboards CETRIS^® are produced by technological equipment supplied by the German company BISON. In 2010, the production line underwent a complete extensive reconstruction to improve the quality and volume of production. Newly installed in the production line is a cleaning and grinding equipment that perfectly cleans the production sheets and thus improves the surface quality of the plates. The drying room was renovated and extended, and a new new formatting saw. When formatting the manufactured boards, it is now possible to declare lower tolerance values for tolerances on dimensions and shapes, which are significantly below the standard values. Major changes have been made to coating line. A fully automated line with a spraying machine KRONOS from the Italian manufacturer MAKOR was purchased, which perfectly surface-treats not only the face of the boards, but also their edges. In the improved and extended coating process, the cleaning and grinding equipment for the preparation of the face surface and the powerful drying and cooling equipment are not missing at the beginning of the whole process. The compressor room has also been modernised, the shipping hall has been expanded and we expect to continue to invest in the future to modernise and expand our plant.

We pay great and constant attention to the quality of our products. Already in 1996 we obtained a quality certificate according to EN ISO 9002 from the international accredited certification company Lloydś Register Quality Assurance. Following the publication of the new standard, this system was recertified in 2003 according to ISO 9001.^® is further supervised by authorised and notified persons. As the company exports its products throughout Europe, the cement-bonded particleboards are certified not only according to European harmonised standards but also according to national standards.
